And well I get 3120 or so. 80 fps low but in the ballpark. For 69-70 gr bullets and 25.6 gr CFE Expected was 2900fps and I got 2890fps so very close. But on X-terminator the book says 53gr 24.8 = 3,295.

Ramshot Xterminator is a true ball powder with the granules being perfect little balls that are all the same exact size. Xterminator also takes up slightly more room in the case.

Webb5 jan. 2007 · I found that X-Terminator is a bit better suited for light bullets in the .223. It seemed to get a tad touchy with 50s, and more so with 55s. But it sure makes those 40s hum! Big Game in. 22 250 is excellent, similar to RL 15, 308 also, not the best in a 30 06 where Ramshot Hunter is the best. I use Ramshot powders and very pleased with them.
