WebOct 3, 2011 · Thanks for the information. If it is not changine on the screen, that is the problem. It sounds like the wire that runs from the brake pedal switch to the engine ECM is the problem. It is most likely broken and the ECM thinks the brake is being pushed. I would trace the wire from the brake switch. It should connect to pin 45 on the ECM.
